189 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Defence the date by which the Defence Force regulation S7 signed in June 1992 will be circulated to all FCA unit commanders; and the arrangements, if any, which he will make in the meantime to allow the Reserve Defence Force Representative Association to conduct its business at Unit/Sub-Unit level, pending the distribution of the regulation.
Arrangements are being made to circulate copies of Defence Force Regulations S7 which cover the workings of the Reserve Defence Force Representative Association to all FCA unit commanders. Appropriate arrangements have already been agreed with the association in relation to the conduct of is representative business. These agreed arrangements, the authority of which is not contingent on the distribution of Defence Force Regulations S7, provide for the association to carry out its representative functions at command and at national level.
