Ceist:304 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education the names and location of all the second level schools that have benefited under the building programme and who will proceed with their building in 1993.
Written Answers. - Funding Second Level Schools.
The capital allocation for post primary schools provides for expenditure on major new building projects, of which 14 will commence construction in 1993, small capital projects and emergency repairs, meeting contractual commitments, the provision of temporary accommodation to meet increased enrolments and funding the acquisition of special equipment.
It is not feasible to identify all the schools which will receive capital funding. However, the vast majority of schools in the post primary sector will benefit under one or other of these areas.
