Ceist:

80 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance if he will allow the importation of a motor car valued at £300, under the bequest provisions, for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9; and if the statement from the appointed executor is acceptable as sufficient documentation and proof of the intentions of the deceased.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that they have reviewed the matter and in the particular circumstances of the case in question are now prepared to allow retention of the motor car in the State under the bequest provisions.
