The Programme for a Partnership Government 1993-1997 indicates that the law on occupiers' liability will be reformed and updated in line with the commitment given in the context of the Programme for Economic and Social Progress.
This area of the law is currently being examined by the Law Reform Commission. The task of bringing forward legislation proposals will be addressed in the light of their work.
