Ceist:169 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve an extension of the Achill Sound Water scheme to Owenduff in Achill, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Additional technical information submitted to my Department by Mayo County Council is under examination at present. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the Water and Sanitary Services Programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
