Ceist:50 Mr. Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny) asked the Minister for Finance the grade of each civil servant appointed as a special adviser in his Department; and the number of appointments made to fill the vacant grades concerned.

Mr. Cyprian Brady, who was appointed to my Department as a special adviser is a clerical officer in his parent Department. The question of filling the vacancy concerned is a matter for that Department.
