72 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Finance if he agrees with the Tánaiste's announcement in relation to the spending of the Cohesion Fund as outlined by the Tánaiste on the week-end of 6-7 March 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I assume that the Deputy is referring to the statement issued by the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs in Brussels on Monday, 8 March 1993.
I agree fully with that statement. In particular, as regards the proposed areas for Cohesion Fund aided investment, the statement is entirely consistent with the proposals contained in my Financial Statement to this House on 24 February 1993.
