121 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if she has received a request from the management of James Street CBS Secondary School for funding for facilities to enable the school to take in girls from the adjoining Mater Dei Girls Secondary School which is closing; and, if so, her response to this request.

My Department has not received an application from the management of the Christian Brothers Secondary School, James Street, for grant-aid towards providing facilities to enable the school to take in girls.

Should such an application be received, it will be given full consideration within my Department.
