115 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the number of new jobs created and the number of jobs lost in each of the five years from 1987 to 1991 in foreign-owned companies, small Irish-owned companies with fewer than 50 employees and large to medium Irish-owned companies, that is with over 50 employees.
The Tables below set out the gross job gains and gross job losses of Irish and foreign-owned companies in the five year period 1987 to 1991. The data is based on the difference in job numbers, in the form of a gain or loss, in the year of review against a previous year, for all companies.
