Written Answers. - Report on School Transport Scheme.

229 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education if she will publish the report on the school transport scheme undertaken by Bastow Charleton; and if she will confirm that studies already completed suggest that Bus Éireann are the best equipped to administer this scheme in future.

The report to which the Deputy refers has yet to be considered by Government, and no decision as to its publication will be taken in advance of this consideration.

Because of the limited focus of the earlier study, and the commercially sensitive nature of its content, it would not be appropriate to comment on its findings.
