Vol. 430 No. 2

Written Answers. - Dublin Remedial Works Scheme.

Pat Rabbitte

Ceist:

171 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for the Environment when he will give a decision on the application submitted in 1987 for provision of funds under the remedial works scheme in respect of 190 dwellings at an estate (details supplied) in Dublin 12.

Dublin County Council submitted applications for funding under the remedial works scheme in respect of five of their estates including Limekiln Estate, Walkinstown. The council awarded the highest priority to the flat complex at Hillview Court, Ballinteer, which project was designated for funding under the scheme in April, 1992. Due to the financial commitments outstanding on the Hillview Court project and the high level of demand for assistance under the scheme from other authorities, it is not possible at this stage to designate further projects from among those submitted by Dublin County Council.
