226 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if a person (details supplied) in County Cork who resides in a disadvantaged area will be awarded grant aid in order to ensure that an electricity supply can be connected to his property.
The application in question was recently approved by my Department. The ESB will be in touch with the applicant shortly to quote him terms for supply. As soon as the ESB is notified of acceptance of the terms, the applicant will be placed on its work programme and the supply will be connected in due course.
