Ceist:304 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education the proposals, if any, she has for a pilot job-sharing scheme for post-primary schools; if this scheme will commence in 1993; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Job Sharing Scheme.
The Deputy will be aware from my predecessor's reply to her parliamentary question of 22 October 1992 that a draft pilot job-sharing scheme for post-primary teachers has been circulated to managerial bodies and teacher unions.
It is proposed that the draft scheme will be introduced in a limited number of schools on a pilot basis in the 1993-94 school year.
