Ceist:60 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the position regarding the visa application of a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department advised the gardaí in January last to regularise the residency permission of the person referred to by the Deputy. I have been informed since by the gardaí that his passport has been endorsed with the appropriate stamp.
