Ceist:72 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Justice the progress to date in her review of the Landlord and Tenant Law; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I refer the Deputy to my replies to Question No. 178 of 10 February, 1993, Question No. 97 of 30 March, 1993 and Private Notice Questions about Mespil Estate on 11 May, 1993 which set out the position in relation to aspects of landlord and tenant legislation. Any proposals which I may have for changes in the law in this area will be anounced in the ordinary way in due course.
