78 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve the recommendation by Meath County Council Speed Limits Committee submitted to his Department 12 months ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Outline proposals for the revision of speed limits in County Meath were received from Meath County Council in April, 1992. The local authority has been requested to provide further details which are required before regulations can be made. When this information is provided, the proposals will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
