51 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if she will give details of the measures the Gardaí will take to ensure that residents have free access to their homes, that laneways and roadways are kept clear and that proper and adequate security is present during the rock concert scheduled for Dalymount Park, Dublin 7, on 27 June 1993.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that sufficient gardaí will be on duty both inside and outside the stadium so as to ensure adequate security for all concerned. A barrier system will be put into operation in the area at 6 a.m. on the day of the concert to prohibit vehicles other than those of local residents, who will be issued with special passes to allow access, entering the area.
