183 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Defence if a bailey bridge was made available or offered by his Department to Kerry County Council in 1992 to replace Ballinagare Bridge, Lixnaw, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A bailey bridge was not made available or offered by my Department to Kerry County Council in 1992 to replace Ballinagare Bridge, Lixnaw, County Kerry.

Certain technical advice in relation to the construction of a bailey bridge was, however, provided to the Council.
