111 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will give details of the various European Community initiatives that he has implemented in the period from 1989 to 1993 inclusive; the scope and extent of funding for each programme; if these programmes will be continued in the future; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The Deputy will be aware that there are many EC initiatives and programmes which have benefited areas for which I now have responsibility during the period referred to in the question. It would not be possible in the time available to furnish full details in relation to all of these. However, if the Deputy wishes to communicate with me regarding any specific programme, I will be happy to assist him in any way possible.
The Deputy can be assured that I will make every effort to ensure that EC initiatives and programmes which have benefited my areas of responsibility will be continued in the future.
