Ceist:55 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Social Welfare if there are any measures required to be taken in his remit of responsibility to comply with the terms of the Single Market; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
It is proposed to take Questions Nos. 54 and 55 together. The legislation for which I am responsible complies with the provisions of the Maastricht Treaty. There are no measures or initiatives to be taken by my Department to comply with the terms of the Single Market.
