Ceist:78 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Defence the number of promotions to the Civil Service grades of Higher Executive Officer, Assistant Principal and Principal Officer made within his Department in the two years ending 22 June 1993; the number of women promoted in that time to each of those grades; the number of women who are currently serving in each of those grades; the number of women in each of these grades who were eligible for promotion in that time; the average number of years service in each of the three grades for women and men, respectively; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
