Ceist:136 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to St. Patrick's Christian Brothers School, Portarlington, County Offaly, with particular reference to the construction of new permanent classrooms and general purpose room; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 122 and 136 together.
The question of whether approval in principle should be given for the grant-aiding of a permanent extension at this school is currently under consideration and my Department will be in communication with the school authorities in the very near future on the matter.
