221 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education when she received the Bannon report on the future of second level education in the Castleknock area, Dublin 15; when she will be able to make its findings available to interested parties; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The report referred to by the Deputy was received in the planning section in mid-October and is presently under consideration in my Department. As I have already indicated in reply to a recent parliamentary question, I hope to be in a position soon to take a decision on the future provision of second-level education in Castleknock, in the light of this report. I will then arrange to have its findings made available to the local interest groups.
