Ceist:87 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment when he will name the new chief executive of Forbairt; and the amount in terms of personnel and budget that the new indigenous industry agency will have.

Under the Industrial Development Act, 1993, the appointment of the chief executive officer of Forbairt is a matter for the board of that body and is not a matter in which I have any direct function.
The question of the financial and personnel resources which will be available to Forbairt is under consideration, inter alia, in the context of the normal Estimates process.
