181 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to enclose a printout slip with all cattle headage, beef premium, suckler cow, sheep headage and ewe premium grants, denoting full details of the amount of animals and the relevant schemes covered by the paying order.
The scheme covered is listed on all cheques and printout slips issued to farmers. Details of payment entitlement including number of animals are recorded on a printout slip attached to all cheques issued under the premium schemes. In the case of headage payments in the disadvantaged areas, the printout contains details of amounts due to the farmer concerned. The number of animals for which payment is being made is printed on the cheque.
