Ceist:

223 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the number of national schools with consecutive grade classes and multigrade classes for the school year 1992 to 1993 in the following size categories 0-19 pupils, 20-29 pupils, 30-39 pupils and 40 pupils and over, respectively.

The information required by the Deputy is given in the following tabular form in so far as it is available. A cross-classification of national school classes by grade structure, class-size and the number of schools involved is not readily available.
