224 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education whether she has or intends to prioritise the provision of second level school places and/or facilities in respect of County Kildare for the year 1994; when a priority list will be drawn up; if she will publish this information; and if she make a statement on the matter.
I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 50 of 17 November 1993.
As I stated, my Department has drawn up a prioritised programme for 1994 based on the requirements for that year. In the absence of a firm allocation for 1994 it is not possible to indicate a definitive programme for implementation in County Kildare or any other part of the country. It is my intention to give details of these projects in due course.
