Ceist:104 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in payment of a VAT refund to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if arrangements are being made to issue this payment.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the claim in question was received by them on 25 November 1993. The taxpayer's repayment cheque issued to him on 3 December 1993.
