Ceist:200 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Education when the refurbishment programme at St. Benedict's national school, Grange Park View, Raheny, Dublin 5 will be sanctioned.

Proposals for the refurbishment of St. Benedict's are under consideration and my Department will be in contact with the school authorities in the matter in due course.
Noel Ahern
Ceist:201 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the position on the demands from St. Joseph's Senior national school, Poppintree, Dublin 11, who have submitted various requests for repairs including roof repairs, extra chairs and tables to cover 300 pupils, replacement carpets, resurfacing of school yard and the replacement of ceiling tiles; the provision, if any, that has been made in the 1994 Estimates for the school; and if she will have arrangements made for an early meeting between the school board and senior officials at her Department.
Remedial roof repairs are presently in progress at St. Joseph's national school, Ballymun, Dublin 11. Further works will be considered in the light of a detailed report which has been requested from my Department's professional advisers.
