Ceist:550 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has to change the charges for private and semi-private in-patient care during 1994.
Written Answers. - Hospital Charges.
I have no plans to change the level of charges for private and semi-private patients in public hospitals during 1994. I am, however, completing my examination of the report of the group which reviewed public hospital charges and I hope to make an announcement on this matter very shortly. Any charges in the arrangements for public patients will be applied to private and semi-private patients in public hospitals.
