Ceist:591 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Education if she has examined a request from the Ennis Teachers Centre to extend it to full time status.

In the context of enhanced provision of in-service education for teachers, my Department is at present examining the future development of teachers' centres and the contribution they might be able to make to delivery of the enhanced service.
The position of Ennis Teachers Centre will be examined as part of that general review.
