Ceist:120 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if she will provide the necessary finance to the National Youth Federation to enable them to employ a full-time youth worker for Listowel, County Kerry.

My Department is at present examining the question of the allocations in the light of the moneys provided this year for the youth service grant scheme and the scheme for special projects for disadvantaged youth. However, in view of the overall constraints on the 1994 youth services budget and the high level of existing commitments it is unlikely that it will be possible to allocate a grant to the Listowel project this year.
