121 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education the precise distance by which persons (details supplied) in County Kildare are excluded from free school transport to Rathmore school in view of the fact that they have seven school-going children, six at national school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

There is no record of an application for school transport from the persons named by the Deputy on the files of either my Department or Bus Éireann. The details supplied by the Deputy have been passed on to Bus Éireann, for investigation. When their report becomes available, the Deputy will be informed of the outcome.
