My Department is currently in the process of setting up a national database on the needs of persons with a mental handicap. The database will be established this year and will assist in the planning of services.
The Review Group on Services for People with a Physical or Sensory Disability is examining the question of setting up a national database on people with physical or sensory disabilities. I expect to receive the review group's final report this year.
