The person named was paid the balance of his 1993 cattle headage scheme grant on 26 February 1994.

Ceist:106 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive the balance due of his cattle headage grant and suckler cow premium.
The person named was paid advances of his 1993 cattle headage grant and 1993 suckler cow premium on 30 November 1993. His applications are being further processed at present and if found in order the balance of the headage grant will be paid in the near future. Payment of the balance of the 1993 suckler cow premium cannot be made to a particular applicant until all applications received from him/her in the course of 1993 have been processed. This is necessary to ensure compliance with EU regulations covering in particular the ceiling on eligible animals and stocking density. The processing of November 1993 applications means that in most cases payment of the final 40 per cent premium will not start before late March.

Ceist:107 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive his beef premium.
The person named applied for special beef premium in January-February 1993. This application could not be processed for payment because he did not lodge a fully completed area aid application form. The area aid application form which he did lodge was returned to him on 28 September 1993 for clarification on the acreage. To date the form has not been returned to the local livestock office.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme is being processed at present and any advance payment due will be made shortly.
