Vol. 441 No. 8

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

98 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when persons (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid the balance of headage.

The applications of the person named for grants under the 1993 cattle and equines headage, suckler cow and special beef premium schemes are being processed further at present and any balances due will be paid shortly.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

99 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the milk quota allocation to Munster, Leinster, Ulster and Connacht for each of the years 1989 to 1993.

Ireland's national milk quota is administered at the level of milk purchasers, whose suppliers are not, of course, confined to the provinces where the purchasers are situated. A breakdown of the national quota on a provincial basis is, therefore, not available.

Dinny McGinley

Ceist:

100 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when sheep headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

Payment of the final instalment of the 1993 ewe premium and the 1993 sheep headage grant will be made to the person named shortly.
