147 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application for funding to build an extension to St. Aiden's Travellers Centre to make extra space to facilitate the activities of the centre's boxing club; if she will sanction the application in view of the valuable work done by the centre for 40 young travellers; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

An application has been received from St. Aiden's boxing club, Tallaght under my Department's recreational facilities scheme. All applications received under the scheme are presently under consideration by my Department and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the club as soon as possible.
