Ceist:70 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Finance the payments, actual, forecast or estimated, which were made to Ireland from the EAGGF guarantee section in respect of 1993.
Written Answers. - EAGGF Funding.
1. The total advance actually received from the EAGGF Fund — Guarantee Section — in 1993 amounted to IR£1,281,754,361.22. This compares to an estimate for that year of £1,114,000,000; 2. The actual figure includes an exceptional advance of IR£36,852,467.62 which was made available to member states from the 1993-94 Budget in respect of SLOM I, SLOM II and Restructuring of Milk Production, which was not paid out during 1993, and 3. the amount advanced in respect of Restructuring of Milk Production — £1.592 million — has now been paid and the remainder in respect of SLOM I and SLOM II will be paid out later this year.
