14 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment if he has had discussions or contact with a French company concerning a possible joint venture arrangement for the supply of water; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Various approaches have been made to me or my Department by overseas companies, including some from France, about the possibility of their becoming involved in the provision of water or other environmental services in Ireland. On this general question I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 6, 10, 34 and 114 on 4 May 1994.
