14 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if an audit has been carried out into the availability of suitable premises for arts graduates and practising artists who would wish to work in this country; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I am not aware of any formal audit having been carried out into the availability of suitable premises for arts graduates and practising artists nor am I aware of any demand for such an audit. If such an audit were warranted and were to be carried out it would be a matter for an Chomhairle Ealaíon. I would be happy to convey to an Chomhairle Ealaíon for their consideration any arguments the Deputy might like to put forward in this regard.
