70 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the progress made to date on an application for compensation by a person (details supplied) in County Wexford afflicted by damage resulting from bad weather on 8 December 1993; the result of the examination as carried out by the Minister of State at his Department with a view to determining the action, if any, that can be taken in this instance; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
