The person named applied for 22 month special beef premium on two animals in January-February 1993. The ages of both animals were under query regarding eligibility. This matter has now been resolved and payment will be made shortly.

Ceist:108 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid his sheep headage; and when this file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.
My Department has no record of having received an application for 1993 sheep headage grants from the person concerned. He applied for 1993 ewe premium in respect of 30 ewes and was paid an advance of £497.37 on 24 July 1993 and a final instalment of £275.90 on 17 May 1994.
Robert Molloy
Ceist:109 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made for the immediate issue of 1993 June/July special beef premium to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
The person named has been paid part of his grants under the June 1993 special beef premium scheme. The balance is being processed at present and payment will be made shortly.

Ceist:110 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in payment of a beef subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The person named applied for ten month special beef premium on 90 animals in November 1993. My Department has requested clarification from the herdowner on three tag numbers listed on the application. When this information is provided the application will be processed further for payment.
