Ceist:

120 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction grant aid and, in particular a special contribution, towards the cost of the Caherlevine group water scheme, Loughrea, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Proposals to include group schemes among the measures eligible for European Regional Development Fund and/or FEOGA support are now at an advanced stage of negotiation. I intend to review the position of this and other relevant group schemes in this context.
