Ceist:122 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment when approval of an application by Waterford County Council for the provision of a treatment plant at Portlaw, County Waterford will be issued.

Tenders for treatment works and mechanical plant relating to this scheme are under consideration in my Department.
Having regard to the overall level of commitments under the water services programme, I cannot indicate at this stage when a decision may be made.
