58 Miss Quill asked the Minister for the Environment when approval will be given for the extension of the Old Whitechurch and Mallow Road drainage scheme, as proposed by Cork Corporation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A preliminary report for this scheme has been received in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
