Vol. 445 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Aid Allocations.

Alan Shatter

Ceist:

383 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the further payment, if any, he intends to make by way of grant aid to a marriage counselling service (details supplied) in Dublin 2 during the course of 1994; and, if so, when. [410/94]

Liz McManus

Ceist:

384 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the precise allocation of funding for a company (details supplied) in 1994; and when the balance of the allocation will be paid. [411/94]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 383 and 384 together.

Grants under my Department's special scheme of assistance to marriage guidance and counselling groups are being paid on a phased basis. The first of these payments was made last July and the second payments are in the process of being made. Third and final phase payments are proposed to be made in November next. All groups, including the group to which the Deputies refer in their questions, have been informed about their position. The allocations to the group concerned are £18,500 and £23,500 in July and October respectively. Third phase payments will be notified in due course to all groups.
