229 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Health the exact locations of the two central treatment facilities for healthcare waste proposed for the Dublin area; and if these treatment facilities will constitute a risk to the health of local residents. [1560/94]
The locations of the central treatment facilities for healthcare waste proposed for the Dublin area have yet to be determined. Negotiations are proceeding with a number of interested parties.
I can assure the Deputy that wherever these facilities may be located they will not constitute a risk to the health of local residents.
