238 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Education if she will approve attendance by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 at a special school in Devon, England, as no such facility is available in Ireland and he has been out of school for some time now. [1323/94]
My Department has not received an application to approve the attendance of the person in question at a school in England.
In order to consider appropriate educational placement for this person, up-to-date psychological and psychiatric reports will be required.
I am having the matter investigated and will advise the Deputy of the outcome as soon as possible.
