Vol. 446 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Paul Bradford

Ceist:

157 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to investigate the case of a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has not received payment of the November 1993, ten month special beef premium although his Department has indicated that payment has issued to him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2376/94]

The person named applied for grants on ten animals under the November 1993 ten month special beef premium scheme.

He did not submit a 1993 area aid application, however and as a result could be considered for payment on up to 15 reckonable livestock units only according to the relevant EU Regulations. Unfortunately, his large milk quota took up all these livestock units, leaving him ineligible for premium on any of his cattle.
