119 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a 22 month beef premium and 10 month beef premium, applications for which were submitted on 15 November 1993, will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. 120 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a ten month beef premium, the application for which was submitted on 23 February 1994, will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2424/94]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 119 and 120 together.

My Department is unable to trace any June or December 1993 ten or 22 month special beef premium scheme applications from the person named.

His February 1994 ten month special beef premium scheme application is being processed at present, and if found in order an advance payment will issue as soon as possible. Under EU rules, payments under this scheme cannot commence before 1 November 1994 and even then they are limited to 60 per cent advances.
